Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Gluesale referral marketing application (the “App”) for Shopify. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Gluesale enables Shopify merchants to run a referral program: generating referral links, creating discount codes, attributing conversions, sending transactional emails, and reporting on performance. We may improve or modify features over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must have an active Shopify store and authority to install apps on it. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your store’s installation and for complying with Shopify’s terms.

3. Fees and billing

Your first 10 successful referred customers are free. Beyond that, the App charges $5 per successful referred customer through Shopify’s usage-based billing, subject to a monthly cap you can adjust. All charges are processed and approved through Shopify. You are responsible for any taxes that apply.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to abuse or manipulate the referral program, reverse engineer the service, or use it to send unlawful or unsolicited communications. You are responsible for how you configure rewards.

5. Discount codes and rewards

Discount codes created by the App are real Shopify codes applied in your store. You are responsible for the reward amounts, validity periods, and minimum order rules you configure, and for honoring discounts presented to your customers.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Referral and reward processing depend on Shopify webhooks and third-party services that may experience delays.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its software and branding, is owned by Gluesale. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights beyond the limited right to use the App while installed.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gluesale is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
